For those not in the know – a Bliss Ball is a lovely bite sized delight originally made from dates and coconut but now days incorporating just about anything that can be smooshed together to for a nutritious little snack.
For those of us not doing endurance races but just trying to eat better, one of the issues that often derails us is sinful snacking. We’re used to our comfort foods, we crave something sweet, we often snack just because of habit or boredom. So I wanted to provide you lots of snacking choices.
Another reason to have healthy snacks ready at all times is for hungry kids. They can be popped into lunch boxes or kept for those afternoon nibbles. If you start to look for recipes you’ll find that most of them contain nuts. But with more children subject to nut-intolerances, I looked further to find these nut free alternatives.

If you’re looking at those and thinking they all contain quite high carb content – here is what I do - Add 1-2 Tablespoons of a high quality plant based Protein Powder or Green Powder Booster to any of the recipes – it helps bind, doesn’t affect taste and balances out some of the carbohydrates.
